The American multinational company launches a novel service of magazine subscriptions called Apple New+ featuring 300 magazines.
The American technology company launched its novel service called the Apple News+ providing magazine subscription to its users. The updated version will allow three hundred subscriptions for a month and can be availed by paying US$ 9.99 dollars per month. Apple demonstrated its service on stage to show off the unique features.
The service involved showing the novel update wherein, the subscribers will see magazine covers similar to live wallpapers or moving images. The home page will have an option called “My Magazines”, which will enlist names all the magazines along with suggested ones. The favorite periodicals of a subscriber will be automatically downloaded with release of recent issues. According to the company, there is “First Look” section for personalized recommendations of story. Furthermore, the page is divided into three columns showing different magazines in the form of a thumbnail allowing the user to choose from the columns.
The service offered by Apple is made available from March 26, 2019, with free one month subscription. It is launching its service in the United States and Canada in two languages, French and English. Apple News+ will feature thirty Canadian magazines and one Canadian newspaper, “The Star”. The services are estimated to be launched in Australia and European countries beginning with the United Kingdom.
